Dale Earnhardt, Jr., 35 years of age, proves each week that he is a true contender. He gives everything he has every time he enters the race track. Some people say he is coming back this season and that next season might have his name engraved to go to victory circle.
Watching Nascar on sat. tv after my satellite dish installation each week offers a tremendous opportunity. As a fan I get to see the starts, the restarts, the piles ups, and everything else that makes the race an exciting event week in and week out. Watching the 6 foot, 165 pound Earnhardt, Jr. continues to be an exciting event. I am not the only one who feels this way. It is obvious that he has a stadium full of fans as he has been named the NASCAR Most Popular Driver from 2003 to 2009. Chances are he will earn the title again this season. He also won the 2004 Daytona 500 and the 1998 and 1999 Busch Series Championship.
Earnhardt, Jr. has some outstanding NASCAR Nationwide statistics. The number 88 races for JR Motorsports. He has achieved 23 wins during his career. During this time he has placed in the top ten on 73 occasions. He drives the AMP Energy-National Guard Chevrolet Impala in the NASCAR Spring Cup Series Hendrick Motorsports and in the Nationwide Series he drives part time for his team.Authored by Rickey Combs
